Sometimes I feel like all the hard work is on my side of the fence. I have to call him, I have to talk to my father about talking to each other. Does he not realise how hard it is for me to settle my lifestyle and include him in it, just like that? Does he not realise how much I have had to sacrifice my relationships and earn the trust for him to my family, just in order to get him where he wants to be in my life?
Lord, does it have to be this hard? What do we need to do to work together to make this happen?
